By accessing or using Gamepad Overlay ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Service.
2. The Service
Gamepad Overlay is a free, web-based tool developed by KWWD (Katy Whitton Web Development) that generates a controller overlay image. It is designed for use with streaming/broadcast software such as OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS, Meld, Prism and similar products. It is provided free of charge for your personal and content-creation use.
3. Eligibility
By using the Service you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to agree to these terms and to use the Service.
4. Your use of the overlay
- You may use generated overlays on your own streams, videos and content.
- The generated overlay URLs are provided "as is" and may change or stop working as the service evolves.
- You may not resell, redistribute or re-license the Service, its overlays, or its source code (other than the overlay images for use on your own content, as described above).
- You may not use the Service to break any law, or to harm, harass or misrepresent anyone.
5. No affiliation with third-party software
OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Meld, Prism and similar products are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any of them. The names are used only to describe which products the overlay can be used with.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including the design, code, images and text — is the property of KWWD unless otherwise stated and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We do not claim ownership of the software you stream while using the overlay.
7. Affiliate disclosure
Certain links on this site, including promotional buttons and some product links, are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These links never affect the price you pay.
8. Donations
Donations are handled by third-party platforms such as Ko-Fi and are entirely voluntary. We thank you for any support you give, but donations are governed by the terms of the donation platform, not by these terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KWWD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (including YouTube, Ko-Fi and affiliate links). We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or practices of those websites.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown at the top of this page ("Last updated") is the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
